Best of new blog discoveries

My blog interests have lately taken a drastic domestic turn, as I dream about my future house (very far away, but a fun distraction) & other design interests such as my new fascination with letterpress printing (a possible future hobby?) &, of course, Etsy. The dangerous thing about discovering new blogs is that they sometimes point me towards beautiful prints that I end up … buying. I actually adore the print medium, perhaps even more than painting or photography - which is convenient since they are often less expensive. It doesn’t bother me that they are re-prints of a set - it is more about their texture, visual quality & materiality. Also, as you may have noticed, I favour the ampersand today.
Anyway, here are some of my latest blog finds on the world wide web of wonderful:
- Smosch - amazingly lovely, interesting & well juxtaposed photography that I could look at again & again. Probably my most favourite find. I also bought a print from her, called Rain.
- the Sartorialist - Best street fashion blog I have seen yet - & makes me miss Europe.
- Inchmark - I think the polka dot cake says it all, no?
- Poppytalk - full of inspiration.
- Emmas designblogg - Scandinavian home design finds.
- grijs - photography, bits of poetry, etc.
