tweaking … again

As you might be able to tell I am fiddling yet again with design, trying to find something I feel good about. Loving this template but trying to customize it to my liking and periodically breaking it! Ah, the joys of blind CSS coding. Stay tuned for a polished site (hopefully!) and so many posts just waiting to be posted.

Update: Still variously tweaking the design! Any feedback? I welcome all complaints, compliments, or “that last design was sooo much better!”s.

Do you have any screenshots of your various attempts? It would be much easier to comment if we could take a look at the incarnations side by side. It would probably help you, too, to see them this way!

I do remember the version with the black header, and seeing it white now makes me think the black seemed kinda.. heavy. Top-heavy, even. So I think you’ve made a nice improvement, but that’s just me!

What is it that you are trying to portray with your tweaks? If you want opinions, we need yours! :)

Hee hee. Nevermind, I think I’m settled with this one now. But if you have any personal preferences or tips about this design based on your taste, I’m all ears. I just wanted to know people’s opinions about likes or dislikes based on their taste.

But I am settling in, for now. :)
