Potential blog redesign?

I’ve spent the past few days looking at possible Wordpress templates for a much needed redesign.  While my current design is certainly fine, my site (in case you haven’t noticed) has been very slow and heavy lately.  So I have already contacted Dreamhost in case it’s on their end, but am also going to experiment with some new looks to see if I can’t lighten things up a bit.  There are so many beautiful designs, so if I can’t make up my mind I might do some sort of poll as well to get your feedback.  Thanks for your patience while the site looks a bit funky for a while…
