My name is Valerie. I am currently a grad student in Communication Studies (interested in art institutions and the internet) who thrives in a realm of yummy smells, instant and speedy wifi, and the artists, designers and thinkers who make everything worthwhile. Welcome to my website.

Russell Weekes

Sorry about the lack of posts - or I guess really I am sorry for myself, since I have so much to share and write about and yet have not had the time this week.  I have just submitted my Graduate School application to York University in Toronto, Canada and have two more to send out to McGill and Concordia in Montreal.  It’s been an exhausting process, but apparently they let you know the results very quickly.  I should know my fate by the end of March or early April.

For today:  Russell Weekes - a very interesting artist, and yet another one of the web personalities who I am curious to know more about.  Both images are from his website, where you can also see some interesting photographs and videos.  My favourite are his drawings, since they best reveal his humour and keen eye.
