My name is Valerie. I am currently a grad student in Communication Studies (interested in art institutions and the internet) who thrives in a realm of yummy smells, instant and speedy wifi, and the artists, designers and thinkers who make everything worthwhile. Welcome to my website.

Linky Linky love: Resource for Vegan Travel

So a few posts of note have been spontaneously written par moi over at the t-log. One about Cute Overload beluga and turkey gazing, and the other about a possible interest in studying animals in advertising after seeing some intriguing commercial uses of animals.

Anyway, I thought I’d stop in to share a great site called vegan guide (in beta). While it’s not completely English translated yet, it seems to be a collaborative site that tags vegan restaurants geographically. So far there’s only one in Canada - Aux Vivres, the awesome restaurant in Montreal certainly worth pointing out. But there are many more vegan restaurants where that came from here in Canada - so I hope my fellow Canadians start contributing!

Since I am hoping to travel in Europe next spring/summer, this guide should definitely help get me started on where to eat! Ever since I’ve become vegan, I love the culinary part of travel and can’t wait to meet like-minded people in delicious cruelty free restaurants around the globe.
